ABOUT THE COMPOSER
Jeff McQuilkin is a lifetime musician, songwriter and composer with a passion to help filmmakers tell their stories more powerfully through carefully crafted music. He began his career writing songs and playing piano and keyboards for several bands before focusing on a composition degree in college. His music career spans three decades with hundreds of songs and multiple film scores to his credit. His experience also includes recording, producing, sacred music, live performance, touring, music direction and more.
Now living in New York City, Jeff devotes most of his musical attention to scoring for film and television. His most recent short film project, “Ode to an Urn,” has played in film festivals across the globe, and the official soundtrack is available on all major digital outlets. Jeff is also currently working on an instrumental piano album.
