Jeff McQuilkin is a film composer and pianist based in New York City. Jeff scored the indie drama short "Ode to an Urn" which screened at several international film festivals, including the SOMA Film Festival where it received high acclaim. Other projects include dramatic shorts "Jeune Fille" and "Sic Transit Glory", and the indie apocalyptic drama "Radio Caesium," for which Jeff created an experimental texture of drones and processed instruments to create a sense of tension, dread, and pathos.
Jeff's music has been featured in major TV series, including 150+ episodes of History Channel's "American Pickers", Oxygen's "Snapped", Animal Planet's "The Zoo", and most recently Bravo's "Summer House: Martha's Vineyard." His music career spans three decades of recording, producing, sacred music, live performance, touring, music direction and more, with hundreds of songs to his credit. He enjoys collaborating with filmmakers around the world and bringing an experienced and empathetic musical voice to their projects.
